Stephen Lord's 1980 novella "The Fog" - adjusted into an element film by Forthright Darabont in 2007 - is rethought this time for television by official maker/author Christian Torpe. Set in the residential community of Bridgeville, Maine, the story focuses on a family torn separated by a shocking wrongdoing. In the fallout, they are abruptly cut off from whatever is left of the world when a spooky, premonition vapor releases savage animals onto the avenues. Family, companions, and enemies wind up plainly interesting partners, engaging the strange fog and its dangers, as the principles of society separate.
